Baseball Bat Pre-order Information & Commercial

INFORMATION ON THE PRE-ORDER BAT.

The weapon is an American baseball bat. (Louisville Slugger, more or less)

However, if you're playing the wait-and-see game with Left 4 Dead 2, you'll still have a chance to use the bat post-release depending on who you are friends with.

"How it'll work is, if you're playing with somebody that's pre-ordered it, everybody playing gets it," Valve's Chet Faliszek explained.

Also this bat has its own unique characteristics--in other words, it's not just a re-skinned version of the cricket bat. (Which everyone will get)

* Which under my speculation, will launch the commons backwards a lot more than usual melee weapons. Perhaps Scout taunt home run style.

This Means:

Even if you don't get the game till post release day, as long as you hang with me and C13INTZ. You will have access to the actual bat. Wink

No worries my friends who can't pre-order at the moment, as long as you game it up with our Community the majority of our members have pre-ordered. So you will have a chance to see it's awesome power.

I want this game but I'm afraid I might not have enough money. =[

Eh its fine, you don't need early access to the demo or the bat, the demo will be public on Nov 3rd and the bat comes in the final game anyways. Just wait it out.

ill still host for l4d too so don't worry about it, we'll still have good games goin on the first one

Yeah, as long as they get traffic, I won't shut down the L4D servers. Least not both of them.
