| stats dont mean shit. ive seen like 50 people in lfd who have almost all achievements but totally suck ass.
same thing with stats as in people with bad stats are bad, suppose your k/d ratio is bad in a game because you kept getting sniped in the back or grenaded or something, doest that make you a bad player? no.

| | Stats don't mean shyt, my win rate is about even due to reasons like me getting fucked with the team arrangements. Stats to me are just a way to see what weapons a person use a lot, the character usage, achievement comparisons, and how greedy of a person they are when they heal teammates or not. |

| If you are basing your judgment on how a player really is, from the stats page for example, then you are in the wrong state of mind and shouldn't be your determining factor in skill level. Let alone what the person is like.
When you get into the stats page it shows you a plethora of information, down to how many bullets you have fired, etcetera. But what it doesn't show is where you were when they were fired. I'll elaborate some more, it comes down to those times when you are roaming a server (perhaps even on normal) just to fire off shots. Of course, this is going to lower your accuracy and also count up for bullets that didn't kill an infected when it could have.
But after some time, we get distracted and lost in the numbers game. We have destroyed the basic fundamentals of what gaming was originally about. Teamwork. Seriously, the so called 'Veteran' players are nothing more than people that stare at the scream believing the top of charts is the best way to go. When the god's honest truth is, that if your entire team has a greater score from use of better teamwork. Then you have truly become a great gamer.
I think that with the advent of achievements and stats, we have limited ourselves to not having fun anymore. Just trying to push it that extra millisecond for a couple of numbers that really don't mean anything at all. While the rest of you team is now struggling to deal with the things you missed or don't seem to care about.
It all comes down to whether your team as a whole succeeded. Not you at the top of the charts. Because nine times out of ten, Nobody Cares, perhaps it came from hopping around as if you were on a three week crack binge or camping in the usual sniping spot on your local map.
Personally, I miss the original style of Multiplayer gaming. Medal of Honor series, Wolfenstein, Quake, Unreal Tournament, AVP. In which the object of the game was teamwork and objectives. No one cared at all about who was on the top of what listing. There were no achievements and QQ/trolling was to a lesser grade.
All in all, I made SYN to be a place where people could just enjoy their passion, GAMING. Not be like 90% of the clans out there always wanting to be huge and on the top of worlds leaderboards. I'd much rather have a few dozen close teammates, that are always down and have my back.
