| | Ok so ever since the demo came out all my other Steam games got fucked pretty hard, a game like Killing Floor would spike and lag. The issue is that since the demo came out it prompted me a msg to dl an upgrade for my graphic card to keep up to date, and ever since I'm not able to play Steam games correctly, reasoning of why I suddenly don't move or just drop from the game. I've never experienced this problem with the first L4D and I was able to play the game on the highest settings but now I can't even open Steam games. My graphic card is a NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS, I know all my other computer specs matter, but I don't quite know them that well since I'm not too familiar with hardwares and stuff like that, just games. It's just that L4D2's graphic wasn't that huge of an improvement from L4D, so there shouldn't be a problem right? But now it's pretty screwed and I can't even open WarCraft. Help Plx, or at least advice on how to handle it. |

| Yes, when L4D2 was released, Valve inserted a Graphics update for all. But quickly became outdated and is more than likely the root cause of your problems.
Try installing this first:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_196.21_whql.html - 32bit (Normal XP)
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp64_196.21_whql.html - 64bit (Not usual) |

| Thanks, it's somewhat working now, but still crashes and freezes once in a while, not sure if it's the graphic card or something, but at least I can play now  |
