It sure is quiet around here; and I can't get to synpowered.com or the old http://www.SYN-GAMING.TK anymore.
Is anyone active on this site anymore? The "Latest Topics" are all from last year (granted it only January.)
I'm glad to still see many of you still on Steam, and still try to invite you to play when I see you online, though sometimes I don't realize right away because of nickname changes. Very Happy

Mainly, everyone started new jobs and courses - so we are more active on just STEAM. I'm looking to bringing back the group with a new domain sometime in the Spring. Feel free to msg/invite me to a game.

school, work, and spending my weekend nights with real people, not a computer and a microphone XP. And as you may have noticed, i brought syn to bf3, granted no one has it (which i dont blame them, its a terrible game compared to bc2) but w/e. im pretty sure the death of l4d2 was the downfall of syn. everyone, including me, got bored of it and kinda drifted away. and it was too hard to organize something for any other games we tried supporting. we're very much a zombie unified group, try to bring in tf2 or css and we're kind of like "meh." (well, as a team that is, everyone seems to go off and do their own thing when it comes to any game but l4d). and as far as the forums or domian go, no one really caught on to it besides us admins, so they pretty much died, as unfortunate as that is. and id like to say id return to gaming, but unless another l4d comes out, idk if we're ever gunna get this group unified the way it used to be :/ also, my free time is pretty much only past midnight now a days, and with everyone having school or jobs, it just doesnt work out the way it used to, especially since i was the guy who hosted almost all of our shit :/ anyway, im usualkly only on bf3 anymore these days, if your ever on past midnight and see me, hit me up, i usually only snipe, but me and my other buddy in the syn bf3 group can make for some good conversations Razz

also, funding for our servers, that was a big issue too, that and marvin NEVER KEPT THEM UPDATED!!!! there was a point where he left them outdated so long, by the time he did, a new update came out the next day and they were outdated again... id manage one, but its difficult with no cash flow, payin ones own way through college along with every other necessity is not an easy task :/
